Nei geh jig yip hai meh? - What is your occupation? (Your occupation is what?)

Jig hui; Juen yau; Juen joh. - Go straight; right; left.
Ni dou ho leng. - It is a beautiful place. (This palce is very beautiful)

Hai. - Yes.

Mmm-hai. - No.

Nei jan hai ho. - You are wonderful!

Bye Bye. Hai gam sin. Joi gin! - Goodbye. So long. Farewell!

Phrases

Ni hao! Ni hao ma? - Hello! How are you?
(both sentences are equivalent in meaning really)

Hen hao, xie xie. - Very well, thank you very much. (-en is pronounced like -un in pun and x is pronounced like sh in sheets)

Ni jiao shen me ming zi? - What is your name?
(zi is said like zzzzzz, no vowel sound at all and shen is a bit like shun)


Ma fan ni jiao wo yi dian de Zhongwen? - Please teach me more of your language/of this place.
 (Zh is J in Joe and de is like duh)

Ni zuo shen me gong zuo? - What is your occupation?

Qu {___} zen me zou? - Please show me the way to {___}. {a place}
(Qu is like chew but more aspirated, zen is like and zou is like zunzowl)

Zhi zou. You. Zuo. - Go straight; right; left.
(Zhi is Jrr, no vowel sound, You is like Yule but without the L sound and -uo is like war)

Zhe li shi ge hao mei li de difang. - It is a beautiful place.
(Li you pronounce the vowel, like Lee, Shi is without a vowel sound Shr, Zhe is like Juh and Ge is guh)

Shi. - Yes.

 Bu shi. - No.

Ni zhen hao. - You are wonderful!

Zai jian. - Goodbye. So long. Farewell!
